Woodcutting

Effect of puting points on the skill:
Raise the items' drop rate and allow you to cut different types of trees.

Items you get:
Wood - Can be used on Low-level Commerce Pass quests. Is stocked on your inventory, in stacks of 20 max.
Wood Bundle - To get this, you have to talk to a Freight NPC (there is usualy one near every woodcutting area), and choose to "Load Wood". Every 10 wood will be changed into 1 wood bundle. Can be used to repair your ship (double click to use). Is stocked on your ship's cargo, in stacks of 20 max.

Requirements:

• Level 10

• To cut Green Trees: lvl 1 Woodcutting
  
• To cut Yellow Trees: lvl 2 Woodcutting
  
• To cut Yellow Snowy Trees: lvl 3 Woodcutting
  
• To cut Green Snowy Trees: lvl 4 Woodcutting
  
• To cut Iron Wood Trees: lvl 5 Woodcutting

Axes types:
Axe - Normal axe that can be bought from a Blacksmith NPC
Gold Axe - Special axe that can only be bought from Item Mall for 49 points. Doubles the wood drop rate.

Woodcutting areas:

[Ascaron - Argent]
Safe: No (agressive lvl 48 Treant and lvl 62 Small Treant around)
Trees: A LOT of trees grouped together
Locations: 1842, 2971 | 1832, 2952



[Deep Blue]
Safe: No (agressive lvl 38 Polar Bear, lvl 41 Wolf & lvl 68 Lumbering Treant around)
Trees: Many trees grouped together
Locations: 1964, 548



[Magical Ocean]
Safe: No (agressive lvl 24 Mudman, lvl 41 Wolf & lvl 68 Lumbering Treant around)
Trees: Many trees grouped together
Locations: 1506, 3398



[Ascaron - Thundoria]
Safe: No (agressive lvl 41 Wolf, lvl 42 Needle of Stramonium, lvl 43 Snowman, lvl 43 Tribal Villager and lvl 68 Lumbering Treant around)
Trees: Many trees grouped together
Locations: 894, 1984 | 887, 1999

Safe: Yes (there are no monsters on the isle)
Trees: Many trees relatively close to each other
Locations: All over the island (I'll get some coordinates soon)

Note: Ascaron, Deep Blue and Magical Ocean areas are not safe, but you can easily manage to avoyd the monsters while cutting wood.

Using Woodcutting skill:

Trees are shown on you mini-map as orange dots:



There are four types of trees:

Green Tree (Argent & Pirate Hideout)



Yellow Tree (Magical Ocean & Argent)



Snowy Yellow Tree (Deep Blue & Thundoria)



Snowy Green Tree (Thundoria)



With an Axe equiped, simply click on the Pine Trees. You will get a system message saying "Chop chop...", and you will see the items droping:





Special Woodcutting! - Iron Tree:

Cutting Iron Wood can be considered special woodcutting, since it can only be used during guild wars and you get different items than the "normal" woodcutting ones. As mentioned before, you need lvl 5 Woodcutting to be able to cut Iron Wood Trees.

Items you get:

Repair Wood - Can be used (along with the skill "Repair") to repair your guild's Guard Towers, when they are damadged by the other guild. Is stocked on your inventory, in stacks of 20 max.

Iron Tree Areas:

Inside the guild wars area (AKA Garden of Edel), on the area called "Forest":

ok, i've been getting ash woods and woods alot from cutting trees...
but is there somewhere else to get woods other than those two?
